Masking Tape Dress

A young women created this dress completely out of masking tape. She made the dress for a Scholastic Art and Writing competition. Her inspiration was architecture and an empty butterfly chrysalis. She used 18 rolls of masking tape and over 40 hours went into the making of the dress. I'm sure everybody has witness how creative people get with recycle items, this one has stood out the most to me. I can definitely see myself wearing this lovely dress. Congratulations Esther Boller your creation is wonderful, I'm most definitely a fan of your pieces.

Below is an interview of Esther Boller. Hope you all enjoyed it as much as I did.

Still a weirdo after all this years

This past weekend my loved ones celebrated my birthday. This is just a bit of how my celebration looked like.

Happy 10TH Anniversary Alber

During my stay in NYC one of my favorite boutiques was Lanvin. Reason why, well it was definitely not the look of the store. Instead it was because of each one of the pieces that was in the boutique. The detail and the feel of each fabric was like something I had never seen or felt before. Ever since, I will be in deep admiration of his work. Happy 10th Anniversary to you Alber Elbaz.

Mother Teresa

People are often unreasonable & self-centered forgive them anyway. If you are kind, people may accuse you of ulterior motives. Be kind anyway. If you are honest, people may cheat you. Be honest anyway. If you find happiness, people may be jealous. Be happy anyway. The good you do may be forgotten tomorrow. Do good anyway. Give the world the best you have and it may never be enough. Give your best anyway. For you see, in the end, it is between you & God. It was never between you and them anyway.
